1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Methodex Health collects and processes information when you visit our website, create a treatment request, book an online or offline consultation, use the patient portal, or communicate with our team.
This policy applies to public website visitors, patients, and authorised users of connected healthcare workflows operated through the Methodex Health platform.
2. Information we collect
To run the consultation and treatment workflow, we may collect identity, contact, health, payment, communication, and account information that you provide directly or that is generated during treatment operations.
- Basic profile information such as name, phone number, email address, gender, date of birth, and address
- Consultation details such as symptoms, disease concerns, uploaded reports, prescriptions, follow-up dates, and treatment history
- Booking and operational details such as selected consultation mode, selected branch, assigned doctor, case status, token number, and dispatch tracking updates
- Payment details such as transaction reference, payment status, and payment type processed through integrated payment providers
- Technical and usage information such as browser data, device information, session activity, and security logs
3. How we use your information
We use information only for legitimate healthcare, operational, security, support, and compliance purposes connected to your interaction with the platform.
- To create and manage treatment cases for online and offline consultations
- To assign the correct doctor or branch according to the selected consultation mode
- To enable doctor review, prescription preparation, medicine payment, dispatch, and follow-up workflows
- To send service updates through dashboard notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone support channels
- To maintain records, resolve support issues, detect misuse, and protect platform security
4. How information is shared
Access is role-based and limited to the minimum information required for the next operational step. We do not intentionally make your medical information public.
Information may be shared within the platform only where necessary to fulfil consultation, prescription, payment, dispatch, compliance, or legal obligations.
- Treating doctors can access the case information required to review and manage your treatment
- Selected branch staff can access offline branch cases linked to their branch only
- Dispatch staff can access medicine fulfilment details required for packing and shipping, but not unrestricted medical history
- Integrated service providers such as payment, messaging, cloud storage, and shipment partners may process limited data required for their service
- Information may be disclosed where required by law, regulatory process, fraud prevention, or patient safety obligations
5. Consultation mode and branch privacy
If you choose an offline consultation, your case is linked to the selected branch and branch-scoped workflows are used for token generation, queue handling, and branch doctor assignment.
If you choose an online consultation, branch selection is not used for doctor assignment and your case is handled through the online consultation workflow.
6. Communications and notifications
We may send operational communications related to your case, including OTP verification, doctor assignment updates, image upload requests, payment links, prescription readiness, shipment updates, and follow-up reminders.
These communications are service-related and may be delivered through channels enabled in the platform, including WhatsApp, SMS, dashboard notifications, email, or phone support processes.
7. Payments and third-party processors
Consultation and medicine payments are handled through integrated payment providers. Methodex Health does not publish full card or banking credentials inside the application interface.
Payment providers may collect and process their own required payment information according to their own privacy and compliance obligations.
8. Data retention and security
We retain case, prescription, payment, and operational records for as long as reasonably required to provide services, maintain treatment continuity, comply with legal obligations, and support audit or dispute resolution needs.
We use role-based access control, authentication, logging, and related security practices to protect system data. However, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your responsibilities and choices
You should provide accurate and current information during registration, consultation, and profile management. Incorrect information may affect doctor review, branch assignment, medicine dispatch, or follow-up communication.
Where available, you may review and update your profile details through the patient portal. For support requests involving corrections, privacy concerns, or account issues, contact Methodex Health directly.
10. Policy updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. The updated version will apply from the date it is published on the website.
If you have questions about this policy or the handling of your data, please contact Methodex Health through the contact information available on the website.
